155mph

Well I thought I wouldn't but I did, pushed my bike to 155 mph, not so fast to what some bikes can do. However it was on a 16year old bike that I haven't had long and my main concern was that something was going to blow or seize, went straight to 130 but took a bit longer to 155mph. Run out of road and faith that it would keep going, it did seem to concern some other road users as I appeared and disappeared !

More pictures of people who don't live by the rules.

Check out the Nitro bottled strapped to the side ! Wrists straps to hold you on might be a good buy.

Enlarge picture to read small text on plate.

Interesting stall at the bike show, can't remember what they were selling.

Not everybody parks where they are told to !

Ok, so you make polite comment about a lady's attire and they won't let it go.

Bike crash

A biker who does not ask for permission!

Ok sometimes bikes crash, I am speaking personally here..

At the recent International Motorbike & Scooter show in Birmingham NEC a display of 2 bike crashes, 1 fatal raised some eyebrows.

The display was put on by the Midlands Safety Partnership, 1 accident was caused by a car pulling out, what is biker to do.

We all take risks on bikes thats what we do.

We live to ride not to die.

But we need the thrill of the risk and we push our luck and sometimes get caught out.

A bummer for me recently was coming off my bike, not because I was taking risks but because the road was not in proper state of repair.

Will be speaking to a lawyer regarding this point.

Third party insurance I am afraid, even fully comp the insurance company would have found some way of not paying out.

£1200 of damage and quite a few bruises. (see pics)
